About Us

IEEE BITS Pilani Student Chapter (IEEE BPSC) is a student-managed organization at BITS Pilani that operates as a student branch of the IEEE. We are a tech community dedicated to promoting technological innovation and excellence. Through our various technical events and activities, we aim to raise awareness and encourage participation of students in STEM and research. At IEEE BPSC, we provide an inclusive platform for students of all levels to engage in learning, teaching, networking, and working in STEM and research projects. Through our initiatives, we strive to create a dynamic environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking. IEEE BPSC hosts some of the brightest students in BITS Pilani in Technology, Engineering and research, and has been a forum for such people to discuss, learn and work on projects in their fields.

Special Interest Groups
We at the ML SIG, promote and support the growth and application of artificial intelligence (AI) principles and techniques throughout computing. We're organized various talks on topics like Vision Transformers, Artificial Intelligence Generative Adversarial Networks, Natural Language Processing that are aimed at a general audience of engineering and science students at all levels interested in Science at all levels. We target workshops which focus on ML research papers like ICML. We’ve conducted ML based treasure hunts, hackathons that garnered participation from incredible AI enthusiasts.

AI and ML

The Electronics SIG of IEEE BPSC is an exciting community of driven students who share a passion for electronics, robotics and technology. With a focus on both learning and teaching, the SIG is dedicated to spreading awareness and knowledge about various concepts and technologies in the field. In addition, the Electronics SIG plans to host exciting events such as talks and competitions, including the highly-anticipated Ideathons and IoT hackathons, which offer a platform for students to showcase their creativity and ingenuity in the field of electronics.

The Development SIG, or Dev SIG for short, at IEEE BPSC is a community of developers dedicated to exploring the fascinating world of app, web, and backend development. From planning web hackathons to participating in challenges and other industry events, members of the Dev SIG are passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the world of software development. The Dev SIG strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, focusing on a range of projects and initiatives that aim to improve skills and develop innovative solutions.
